Hello MFP! I've had this profile since the end of last year but just recently got back on track and am at a 9 pound loss so far:) Easter this weekend knocked me off a bit but i've discovered that getting back on track, even if slowly, is always better than letting myself stay on the ground:) This time around, I'm making a commitment to stick to it, EVERYDAY, no matter how hard I fall because I've got a goal to reach!
I've been trying to lose this same weight since I gained it back after losing it in college and am determined to get back to where I was and then some! By the time I graduated from high school, I was the biggest I had ever been and decided that once I got to art school and got settled in that I would start to work on myself and lose the weight. A few months later, I started low carbing and in about 3 months had lost 35 pounds:) Even though I was only 20 pounds away from my goal weight, I still felt huge and didnt give myself enough credit and went back and forth with my weight for the next couple years until I started to gain it all back slowly but surely. Having my son 3 years later gave me an "excuse" to be fat and lazy and here I am with 55 total pounds left to lose!
I'm hoping to make more friends here to help with accountability and to share ideas with:) This site is amazing and there are so many of you who are exactly where I want to be:) Here's to getting healthy and fit!
