blender or juicer.

I use frozen fruit, yogurt and fresh bananas in most of my smoothies. I'm looking for a single serving blender or juicer that does a great job and don't cost too much.

    I got a single serving blender at Walgreens for around $20....let me tell you, best investment. All I have to do is switch tops and it a to go cup...fabulous I tell you!!! Now if I can remember the brand :( I know I have seen some at Target and Walmart!

    I hear the magic bullet blender thingy is good. I advise just using a regular sized one, they tend to last longer.

    I have a Hamilton Beach single-serve blender that I've been using for years and it's awesome. It chops ice like it ain't nobody's business.

    Keep in mind that banana's don't work properly in a juicer.

    I have a stick blender. It works well for smoothies that are more on the liquid side, and I can also use it for protein powder mixing and for making soups. They don't cost much, come with a measuring and blending cup, and can be used in all varieties of cups and pots.

    I got a hamilton beach single serving one on amazon for 10$ during the xmas sales, I think they regularly run around 15 bucks.

    ditto, got the same one, had it for about 5 years, bought a magic bullet.............it sucked compared to this thing

    I did not like the Ninja. Used it one day and brought it back. Huge chunks of ice left. :(

    I am still using my trusty old Kitchen Aid blender.... I have a magic bullet, but to be honest, it isn't big enough! I can make a coffee protein drink in it just fine, but when I'm making one of my big fatties, it won't work and I have to get the KA out anyway.

    I use an Oster 12 speed. It was about $29.99 plus tax. The important feature is that it has a metal gear. The cheapo blenders with the plastic gear get stripped out and are a waste of money, so make sure you check out the gear.

    Magic Bullet. I got mine (with 4 cups, all blades, and the juicer add on) on ebay for less than 40$ brand new never used.

    I just got a juicer from amazon for $36 and I really like it!!!
    (Black & Decker JE2200B 400-Watt Fruit and Vegetable Juice Extractor with Custom Juice Cup )
    I was expecting crap, but it REALLY juices the pulp is totally DRY. The clean up is annoying, but I think it's like this with any juicer. I use a toothbrush to clean the centrifuge grill part. I don't juice everyday, but already I've used it about 10x and no complaints.

    Limiting the size of the blender considering you can get a decent blender for 20.00 you will probably find yourself regretting it later........
