 I have been tracking my exercise on here, everything I did and eating my calories from it. On here is said 1 minute of jumping jacks = 58 calories. Well I never thought to question that. But was searching other sites and just found out that 1 minute= 10 calories. That sucks. So check other sites for these excerises people have posted.....

Keep in mind that the number of calories burned always varies by weight as well. Good luck:flowerforyou:

Everyone here at MFP recommends using HRM's, since that way, you KNOW EXACTLY how many calories your body actually burned.

That is why I have a heart monitor to track calories.

Ditto! I have found that NONE of the websites are accurate. You have to remember that "calorie burn" is based on HR and all the websites can do is estimate what someone's HR might be while doing the activity. 2 people of the same gender, age, & weight could have very different HR's during the same activity if they are at different levels of fitness (for example someone who has just started exercising vs someone who has been working out regularly for a long time)
  • Thanks guys, I guess I need to go out and get me a good one..aarrghhh
