drank too much

:drinker: drank too much last night. I do not drink except occasionally on a Saturday. Had Natural Light beer. The downfall was eating afterwards. I ate a lean cuisine pizza and bold and spicey chex mix. May not sound like alot, but it pushed me over my calorie intake. Did anyone else do this, or is it just me??:brokenheart:

  • I do it occassionally and try not to beat myself up to bad afterwards, we are human. Just try and get back on track and not fall off to much. Its a struggle, but I think in the end it will be worth it.:wink:

    Dont feel bad just watch it today..thats why I quit drinking because I will get the munchies:laugh: :laugh:

    i drank last night too. i had 3 rum & diet coke. it push me off the total calories too. but i got up this morning and worked out on my eliptical for 1/2 an hour. i'm back on track today and moved on. As long as you don't do this every weekend, you'll be alright.

    Me too. Went to casino last night for a couple hours. Only had two MGD 64's (I like how the number of calories is right in the name), but then switched to the free coke. Munchies on the way home got me. Whopper Jr. It's like a whole extra meal. :devil:
  • I'm in the same boat. White wine sangria. 3 solo cups worth. Of course, I had to eat the birthday cake and nachos with cheese sauce. However, it did make me feel awful in the moment because I felt so full. I'm going to write in today's diary about it and try to remember that feeling so I can stop before I get there. And not finish the cake. It was too sweet.

    But, today is a new day. New choices. More exercise.

    Good for you Iris. I plan to get some exercise in today, too. Maybe now, if I can stop reading and posting on MFP. :laugh:

    lmao i drank aaaaaaaaa lllllllot friday.....i had about 5-6 vodka and low carb monsters and then afterwards we went to chilli's and i had a grilled chicken sandwhich.luckily i ate very low cals that day because i knew i was going out drinking and i only went over my cals by a little under a hundred

    I only had a shot and a Mich Ultra, but hated the way it made me feel (anti-depressants), so that won't be happening again. I asked my son to fetch me a popsicle (40 cals) from the corner store and he returned with a strawberry shortcake ice cream on a stick (230 cals)..:ohwell: I only ate it because he did me the favor of going out for it.

    Jigs, does the MGD 64 taste good?? Natural Light has 95 calories as opposed to the MDG's 64 calories. I would probably still eat after drinking the MGD's but was just wondering about the taste...:laugh:

    Just to add to the alcohol confession session going on here I also had too much on Friday night. 2 diet-poor girls Margaritas (diet squirt and tequila), a small jig of hot Sake and 3 Corona Lights. As if the alchohol wasn't enough, I ate more than I should have too. The alcohol removes those inhibitions so the eating is ON. And Saturday is my one day off from exercise and I really needed it. Trying to watch calorie intake while hung-over is not good. I stayed within my cal intake yesterday but it wasn't easy! It is good to see, after reading how hard everyone tries all week long, that we all get a little crazy once in a while!

    yeah I agree. I work with Child Protective Services soooooo sometimes ya have to destress the best way u can, and exercise is just not enough after dealing with suich a stressful job (occasionally). Although exercise does work!!!! And I soooo agree with how hard it is trying to stay within your calories on a hungover day...ughhhhh lol going to workout extra extra extra hard today!!!!:embarassed:

    I did this too much and realized a lot of my calories were "empty" and from alcohol. So I decided to take a break from drinking alcohol until I am at my goal weight (except for a couple occasions like Labor Day, when I'll be at the beach with my family, and Halloween), and even then I will limit my intake of alcohol. I've decided that for me any "up" sides of alcohol are definitely outweighed by the down sides!

    I do this too much too..........love my red wine, can sometimes drink a whole bottle in a few days. I have to learn MODERATION!!!! :wink: 1 glass a day when I do have it in the house......
  • haha i think we all do that.. come we're only human and if you dont splurge now and then u start to resent that ur even doing it. I give myself one cheat day which i keep to Saturday and i eat and drink what i want. It's been really successful for me. I think i would probably go crazy if i didnt. I drank a ton of vodka last night and ate a whole plate of buffalo wings followed by Chocolate and peanut butter ice cream hahaha oops! Keepin it light today and back to the gym hard core tommorow!:drinker:
