A recipe recommended by my friend Sherri. I just entered it in my recipes and I can already tell its going to be a winner!

Fat-free, just 142 calories a serving (1/5 of the batch, roughly a cup based on the volume of the ingredients) and 13 g of protein!! I think I found my new night-time, guilt-free snack!

Cottage Cheese Ambrosia 142 calories, 20 g carbs, 0 fat, 13 g protein, 1 g fiber.

16 oz. fat free cottage cheese
8 oz. fat free Cool Whip
1 pkg. sugar free orange Jello mix
1 lg. can pineapple, drained (crushed or chunks, calories based on crushed)
1 can mandarin oranges, drained

Mix and chill for at least a few hours ... enjoy!

I just check my recent forum posts for anything I want to go back to. You can always rebump it if you want to keep it handy. I don't mind :D

I'm totally going to try this. I'm always trying to figure out ways to get my kids to eat more protein and this sounds like a winner! Thanks for sharing :)

I am new to this site but I saw this recipe and saved and printed it. It sounds very yummy. My husband might even eat it because it has no coconut in it as most do. I am retired and do as little cooking as I can get away with and this sounds very easy.
