intro

im 29. i weighed 194lb one year ago due to baby/miscarriage. i got up to 207. after the mc i got back in the gym from april 2011-august 2011. the scale was not budging at all. maybe lost 5lbs, which didnt meet my expections after doing 1 - 2 hours of exercise every day. so i gave up by september and started looking into what could be the cause of not loosing weight. i discovered the cause was my diet and in particular consuming way too much carbohydrates. so i started the atkins diet or low carb diet in January 2012 determined to finally lose the baby weight. i lost 37lbs so far and i can see my toes again. :laugh: now i'm trying to get rid of 20 more pounds of fat on Atkins and daily exercise. i enjoy the benefits of living a low carb lifestyle.

    I'm in teh same boat. Miscarriage in 2009, then new baby in 2011 brought me up to 215. I started going to the gym three times a week doing cardio for 30 minutes, and reducing my calories by half. Nothing. I reduced my calories AGAIN by half, and started going to the gym 5 times a week and for 50 minutes (not including warmup and cooldown). Nothing. I added SlimQuick. Nothing. I'm starting on Adkins tomorrow. So far everyone I have spoken to about Adkins has had success. Wish me luck! and Good luck to you!
