Kettle Bells?

Anyone doing workouts with these? I would love feedback on how you like them and/or where to get good workouts (YouTube?) for arm workouts, etc. I've not used them before but they look interesting.

I was told that the best DVD set is Lauren Brooks. I found it on Amazon, it's pricey, but supposed to be well worth it, especially for beginners.

I agree, Melissa. Interested also. My son had a couple and I fooled around with them a little at his house and they certainly seemed more challenging than dumb bells.

Kettlebells are great!! I try to do HIIT with them 3 times a week getting both cardio and strength training done at the same time. I started with a 10 minute solution video I picked up on sale somewhere. I read the reviews of most of the kettlebell vieos on the market and they aren't great. So I got a basic strenght training routine from a kettlebell trainer. And it's working great for me. And I enjoy it.

I started doing kettlebells about 2 months ago and I love it, doing the workout with a class has made such a difference to my bodyshape, and a 1 hour session burns loads of calories defo advise you give them a go

My tri club has introduced kettlebells into the strength program, I can see them becoming part of my home gym.

Fantastic fun way to workout - oh wait - this was not actually what I said this morning while I died doing it ;-)...... I do them with my trainer - so don't actually have links to online stuff - will have a look at the weekend if I can see anything that might be good for you online....

Thanks to everyone for your input! I will just have to get me one (or two?) and give it a try! Thanks for your feedback.
  • I had a private kettlebell lesson this morning (1st time on kettle bells). I would really recommend them. They are a true total body workout that even with 20 minutes at home each day you would see a big difference.

Would recommend a hours 121 also, was great to get the techniques right and be safe.

Buying my kettle bells this weekend!
