I work at Dollar General, and I want to know what snacks I can buy that are healthy to eat and will soothe my hunger? I normally have time to make a salad to bring, but there are times where I just have to grab and go there.

Edit:
I don't know if this information is needed, but I'll provide it anyway.

I take some of the following everyday to work: carrots, greek yogurt, roasted unsalted nuts, dried fruit, fresh fruit, dried vegetable chips, low fat cheese, whole grain crackers, pretzels and other things i'm sure. I weigh them and put them in individual zip locks every morning. Takes a little extra time, but it keeps me from being hungry and overdoing it at meal time.

Nuts! I love almonds and dates. Roasted Soybeans are good too. Nuts are quick to eat, calorie dense and keep you satisfied for a long time.
  • Reduced fat wheat thins with a wedge of laughing cow cheese, fruit, nuts, apple w/ peanut butter, cottage cheese, sugar free jello
