So my sister recently moved across the state, and out of my parents house. She is home visiting this weekend, and staying with my parents. She invited some friends over, without clearing it with my parents first, and my mom and dad were upset about it. She doesn't think they should have been upset, and is upset because they are upset.

What do y'all think? Personally, if it's not my house, I'm not inviting people over without prior authorization.

    I think she is in the wrong for inviting people over without taking it up with your parents, the OWNERS of the house.

    Invite some freinds to her place without asking and see how she feels.

    If she officially moved outm then the rules have changed from when she lived there (although my kids would have asked when they lived at home too!). She needs to understand that although this will always be here home, it really isn't here home any more, if you understand what I'm saying....

    Your aprents have every right to be upset and annoyed with her and she should respect their opinion and rules....
