You're so crispy and delicious and I get stomach ache every...single...time...I have one of you.

  • I have trouble with them too, if I eat RED ones, I gets super bloated, its horrible, my stomach blows up, like a ballon !! I love the crunchy tart green ones, they dont agree with me too, but I dont get as bad as with the red. try the green.

  • Apples and bananas, melons do the same thing to me as well. I'm pretty much stuck on berries and citric fruits now.

    I don't have a problem if they're cooked. I love homemade applesauce. I don't think it's a fiber thing, unless it's a fiber specific to apples or something. And now I have to make applesauce because it sounds good. Grand.

    Raw apples or pears and canned pears make my gums extremely itch and lately my throat too. I think I developed an allergy to them. I now cook them in the microwave before I eat them. I would love to eat a fresh apple :(

    I feel kind of nauseous whenever I have one. I don't know why. I also find them to make my mouth itchy.

    Apples and pears are fruits that are high in sorbitol, a special kind of sugar they contain, which can cause bloating and discomfort in people who are sensitive to it. I have the same problem :( I hadn't heard of itchy gums before though- I wonder if that is sorbitol-related as well?
