Losing Weight after a Miscarriage

I was wondering, I recently had a miscarriage at about 8 weeks and prior to getting pregnant I was losing at a fairly good pace (about one to two pounds a week) which I thought was pretty good for me. When I got pregnant I gained about 3 lbs and now I am trying to lose again at about the same pace as before but it's not happening! I've lost the three that I gained when I was pregnant but I haven't lost much more than that and I'm certainly not losing as quickly as I was before! I also find I'm hungrier most of the time now.
Has anyone else gone through this that might be able to help? Any tips I need to know? I also happen to have PCOS so yeah that affects it too.

I had two miscarriages but pretty early on, so I don't think that much had changed hormonally in my body. I think the definitely the hormones could be slowing down weight loss right now, especially when combined with PCOS. Keep taking the metformin and exercising and hopefully things will regulate themselves soon. And HUGS to you, I'm so sorry for your loss.0

So sorry for your loss. I don't know what "recently" means, but I do know that after my miscarriage my doctor said to not expect my body to go back to "normal" (hormonally speaking) for at least a month. So be patient! While we don't see a lot of what goes on early in pregnancy, your body has already been through a lot, so give it some time to heal.
Best of luck to you.0 -
Thanks guys, emotionally I'm doing okay with it, I just want to kind of get things back to normal and I would like to lose another 14 lbs before I get pregnant again if possible. Recently would be in the last month, it will be a month in a few days so yeah maybe my body is just trying to recover a bit, but I would like it if it could hurry up and I can start losing again.0
