    Sounds like you drank the wrong bourbon. Here's a hint: plastic bottle = bad.

    The bottle was glass. I don't think the bourbon was the problem. I blame myself.

    I am a great lover of all things Whiskey. I've been holding off while I work on my weight loss, but my reward to myself is going to be a bottle of something that costs at least $75, and a few weeks of little shot glasses each night in celebration of my victory over fat.

    As long as it fits in my calories, of course. GRIN.

    I like Knob Creek, but right now I don't have any of that, just the Woodford Reserve. And some leftover Buffalo Trace.

    For the record, the right bourbon can taste great in a plastic bottle. I have a plastic backpacking flask for campfire bourbon! :wink:

    Not a bourbon fan... Maybe i have just never had good bourbon. I am open to try in though. Depending what the situation is, I like just about any forms of booze. But Im a beer man in my soul...

    Bourbon has a tendency to give you a horrid hangover, even if you do not over imbibe. Switch to the real stuff like a high quality Irish whiskey (Jameson's) or a fine quality Scotch. Stay away from the sweetened mixers.

    Never gives me a hangover. I drink it neat and I wake up feeling fine.

    Bourbon and I have an agreement, I do not drink it and it does not make me humiliate myself.

    I use it in desserts or cooking, and there is usually a sip... or 8, just to make sure it hasn't gone bad or anything, you know.
