No change.

I saw this lady who lost 15 lbs but she looked like she lost 30 lbs. I speed walk, I sweat, I do crunches, lift weights but nothing seems to change. No definition or anything. Would like tips on excersices I could do at home. Thanks everyone.

I'm trying the 30 day shred DVD at home, I'm only on day 2, but I'm doing it because it's supposed to get amazing results!

Really it depends on a lot of factors... For example, height... If a 5'0" woman loses 15 lbs, it is going to be far more noticeable than the 6'4 man who loses the same. Also, where did you start? 15 lbs on a morbidly obese person (I would know this because that is where I started) is not going to be noticeable at all while that last 15 lbs on a small frame person will make a lot of difference. As I said one time, I have a great 6 pack... It is just under 100 lbs of fat... Though I can crunch 120 lbs at the gym, it is not evident because I have not uncovered it yet.

    1. Give it time. Great things happen for those who persist.
    2. Weight/resistance training will help tone muscles -- though at times it does not reflect on the scale.. This is another factor..> A person can gain MUSCLE weight (denser than fat so weighs more) so if the lose 15 lbs, it is a 15 lb fat loss rather than losing 7 lbs of fat and 8 lbs of lean muscle...

Patience. You will get there... Do weights and cardio and proper eating and you will get there. Try to be patient though.

There are so many factors. You could be eating too much, eating too little, not exercising enough. You haven't given us any real information that could help you.

How long have you been training and logging what you eat accurately?

    Plateau?

It's impossible to tell without more info. Your signature bar says 18 pounds lost though, so that's a great start! I can only guess that either you lost the first 18 and haven't moved much in the last few days/weeks/months, or you are losing too slowly for your taste.

Without knowing anything else, try changing up your food and workout. Your body's natural practice is to conserve energy, you'll see quicker results of you make it keep guessing so it can't adapt.

Just a month. Im not expecting a lot of change. The scale moves but I dont see changes in the body. Maybe Im losing weight in my toes first.
