I work night shifts regularly and used to eat a lot of junk but I am getting better at not eating as much. Well done and keep it up!0

I work a night shift once a week and I used to order piazza and eat chips/candy just to make it through the night. Now ive been packing a whole lunch bag full of raw veggies/ yogurt/ humus / and healthy salads with nuts. I feel like its been helping me stay awake and focus!0

I work night shift 7p-7a and I am just getting where I don't eat junk all night. Use to tell myself that I needed the junk to stay awake.0

Good JOB All of you!! I worked night's as a nurse, and while charting (about 4 hour's of the 12, just sat and ate crud from the vending machines, left over foods from the day shift, the cookies, candies, cakes, donuts the families would bring in..or we would order Pizza or HUGE BURRITO'S..we are in New Mexico after all..But then, I walked around 15 thousand steps a night. Now, almost 3 years later, sometimes I still fall into the night shift pattern (have been in it since early Jan) and munch at night.
Am doing better tho.
Add me as a friend if you wish..pls read profile first..am an acquired taste..
Praise the Lord, Keep all you safe on the drive home in a few hours..

Great job! I've been working grave for 5 months now, 10p-6a and I hate it! The best thing that's worked for me is to bring all my food from home, and stay the heck away from the vending machines. i exercise in the morning after work, and I go to bed by 1pm most days. Oh, and I drink lots of water. Yay for making the best of an unnatural situation, ha0

I work 2 night shifts every week 6.30 pm - 7.30 am and I find that if I bring my dinner into work (we have microwaves for reheating etc) and eat at 8ish then maybe have some porridge about midnight it gets me through, but I have to have a coffee with 2 sweeteners at 6am to get me through the last hour and a half.0
