Losing weight without exercising

Back in 2008/9 I lost 3 stone, just by eating healthier, and cutting out junk. I didn't exercise. Long story short, all 3 stone piled on again. Now I've lost 7 lbs in 3 weeks on MFP. I'm not exercising. Will I still lose weight (again)?

you will still loose weight without exercise...but exercise is very good for you and i think with exercise it makes your weight loss a little more rapid if im not mistaken...0

Basically exercising while losing weight helps prevent loss of lean body mass (muscle)
You can certainly lose weight while not exercising though.0 -
Thank you both for the positive replies Had a bad day today, and was heading towards giving up! I didn't keep weight off long enough last time to establish even a basic walking habit. I have to do better this time0

also, dont forget that exercise tones you as well. Just take baby steps with your exercise and before you know it you will be hooked!0
