Probably nothing if you are measuring and weighing the food. You dont always lose :-) just keep it up. It can be slow but worth it! Might i suggest taking measurements as well.0

I just got finished with my first week and worked my butt off but only lost one pound I was kinda disappointed but when I checked my measurements I lost almost 8 inches. Sometimes It's not always about pounds. Are you measuring yourself?0

Take pictures weekly and measure yourself - the scale will lie as you start to add muscle and burn fat. Cut down sodium, drink water, sleep more. Nobody said it will be easy, stick to it for a few weeks and you'll notice a difference and the motivation will kick in.0

Assuming you are working out as well as eating right you'll lose inches first before you begin losing pounds. Don't get discouraged, remember its not a 100 meter dash, its a lifelong marathon.
By the way what's your MOS?0 -
Your body might be fighting back or as others said reducing in size but not in weight. Mine tends to go on hiatus (like now) and I just have to keep doing what I am doing. It can be a little daunting not to see the lbs come off but eventually (and soon) they will. Fight on!!!!0

Thanks everyone for the kind words! I haven't given up yet and still staying motivated by this message board. But I think you guys/gals are right, I'm going to start measuring and taking weekly pictures.
Antoniosmooth, I was a 13D (Field Artillery Technical Data Specialist), but was mainly an 11B (infantry men) while I was deployed in Iraq. I was so fit and in shape while i was in and deployed, I want to get back to those measurements again. I Tried to put on my Class A's and almost got stuck in them! What about you?0 -
I am on day 6 of my journey. Weighed this morning and only lost .2 of a pound. Disappointed but still eating around 1600 calories and exercising 30=40 minutes per day. Keeping my fingers crossed.0

MAKE SURE YOU TAKE MEASUREMENTS.... YOU'LL OFTEN NOTICE WHEN YOU DONT SEE THE SCALE MOVE YOU DO LOSE INCHES. ALSO TRY TO WEIGH YOURSELF AT THE SAME TIME OF DAY WEEKLY. BEST OF LUCK TO YOU AND FEEL FREE TO ADD ME FOR SUPPORT! OH AND SORRY FOR THE CAPS!0

Being under your calories won't help, you need to eat the amount mfp gives you plus your exercise cals.
Apart from that, you didn't put the weight on overnight so it won't come off overnight, it can take a few weeks for the first lbs to come off. Photos and measurements are a good idea :-)0
