Todays veg shopping! God how times change, I remember when food shopping days looked nothing like this!

Replies

  • It all looks delicious! I wish I was home enough to buy more fresh produce. I work so much, it always goes bad before I get to cook it. My freezer however is currently over flowing with frozen vegetables. Hey, it's better than oreos and doritos, right? =D Keep up with the good choices!

    I know what you mean.

I've felt quite 'proud' unloading my trolly at the till, over the last few weeks.
Usually I'm trying to hide all the naughty stuff underneath the odd pack of tomatoes lol - it's not cheap though, all this fruit & veg!

That looks like some awesome grocery shopping! You'll be able to have lots of tasty meals.
  • How many people are in your family? I could never buy that big of a lot of veggies, they would all go bad before they were able to be consumed! I do however buy lots of a variety, just not THAT much, lol. But if you have a big family who eats it that is great! I have a large famly, there are 5 of us, but only one of my children will eat the variety with me, lol.

Omg so much plastic! I mean, that is a fantstically healthy shopping trolley but is there no little grocer in your town who doesn't sell everything wrapped in plastic?

That's what it is like in the UK now, full of European rules and regulations. For example, it is not allowed for a person to carry bread down the road unwrapped, it has to be all wrapped up lest germs get to it.

    Gets on my nerves lol
