Hello

Looking back on my last few days, I am getting hardly any calcium whatsoever! Is this dangerous? What foods have calcium in that are also good for you?

Thanks :)

Calcium is stored in your body, so as long as you aren't consistently low on calcium, you're good.

If you are at risk for osteoporosis or have family members that have it, you should really try to up your calcium. A few days shouldn't matter, but if it's a chronic thing it could be a problem. There is also some evidence that diets rich in calcium aid in weightloss.
  • Cheese has calcium in doesnt it? I ate loads the other day but when I totted my calories up is showed up as 0 calcium?!

I'm going to try and drink more milk and work it into my daily calories.

Some of the entries on the database are not complete, I tend to look for the ones that don't have an asterisk next to them, they are more accurate.
  • Ah, that explains a lot then :) d'oh! thanks
