Hello All..
I'm looking to buy a HRM..especially since I find myself doing workout videos at home and have no clue how many calories I'm actually burning.... Need to find one that is good and reasonably priced??

I've heard nothing but good things about the FitBit. They are around $100.00 (which is pricy for me) but I have looked on Ebay and found a few used ones for cheaper. Good luck!

I have a New Balance N4 - $70 at Target, I got mine for $26 on eBay. You want one with a chest strap for sure, way more accurate. Do a search here on the forums for HRM or heart rate monitor - tons of info on them, lots of opinions and advice!

You can get a Polar FT4 or FT7 for 60 or 70 bucks, pretty good. @bodytronics, can get em pretty cheap on amazon too.

    Fitbit measures movement?

I was just going to post about this. I bought one spur of the moment today. It's a New Balance hrt fit that I got for 50 dollars. But after looking into it a little more I think I might end up returning this one and getting one that has a chest strap. I heard they're much more accurate.

I started with a New Balance watch-only model that I found on clearance. Should have saved my money - definitely worth getting one with a chest strap. The watch only models are not nearly as accurate, and you have to touch your fingers to the watch face often during workouts to take your pulse. Pain the neck, and doesn't always read right away, so interrupts the workout. i like my chest strap model much better!

I have a Polar FT7 and love it. My husband has one as well. If you get an HRM, get one with a chest strap.
