    I can't understand why all those cars just kept going......No way could I have passed them and not stop to help.....

    A few years ago I came upon a pair of lorikeets on the road....One was dead and the mate wouldn't leave.....I did the right thing and stopped and removed the dead bird from the road......I didn't want his mate to suffer the same fate......

    The story says the road around them had been blocked, so there was obviously someone there that was going to help. But yes, a very sad story. I don't get how you can just hit an animal and leave. Even if it's just a bird... So sad.

    I saw this earlier today!! So sweet and sad at the same time!! Makes me think of the movie Hatchi: A Dogs Tale. Super sweet/sad movie based on a true story... if you watch it you're gonna wanna have to pet close by to hug. :o)
