Hi guys! :) I was wondering what's on some of your bucket lists. I lost my old one [my laptop died and I lost a bunch of my pictures, documents, etc </3] and I'm trying to make a new one, but I'm not creative enough. Anyone care to share some ideas? Thanks!

I WILL go skydiving, maybe even this summer. It's something I've always wanted to try but never thought possible....because of my weight. It's going to be my reward for all my hard work. :drinker:

    some of mine were:

visit the pyramids in Egypt, swim with manatees, learn a new language, scuba dive and work at the Gap.

hahaha, i was 15 when i made my list - hence the Gap obsession. I'm not to disapointed I won't hit that one :)

Hike the Appalachian Trail is one of them since I LOVE to hike and it's so close to where I live I feel like it's teasing me! I'll have to wait until life frees up a bit. I met someone recently who actually did it in four months and I thought it was pretty awesome that they accomplished something on my list!

3 BIG things I'm going to do before I die:

    1. Fly in a P-51 Mustang
    2. Drive a racecar in a rear race
    3. Shoot a mini-gun

All very manly things that I absolutely HAVE to do before I die.

  • My current bucket list is 75% complete: To attend all four Grand Slams of Tennis in succession, and play tennis in each host city. I've already been to London for Wimbledon, New York for the US Open, And Sydney and Melbourne for the Australian Open. On June 2, I lift off for Paris and the French Open! And yes - I've played tennis as well in each city!

Next bucket list item: Pay off the credit cards that I used on the previous bucket list. :-)

To run a full marathon (shooting for Labor Day 2013 to do this)
Run a half marathon in all 50 states (only 3 so far, guess I need to stay in shape through retirement to accomplish this one!)
To backpack along the Continental Divide
To backpack along the Applachian Trail
Do a river raft ride at the Grand Canyon

You're in good shape, but I've seen those Jacklink's Beef Jerky commercials. I'm going to have to bet on the latter. :ohwell:

I never thought of making a bucket list, but some of these suggestions are just so great I started one!

Things I added not previously mentioned here:

    - swim with dolphins
    - visit an intact semi-submerged/submerged shipwreck
    - visit Hawai'i
    - finish a novel and submit it for publication
    - own a mustang convertible and do my own Route 66-style road trip in it, with either hubby or girlfriends
    - visit Europe with hubby
    - go LARPing with hubby once to say that I tried it
    - build a hobbit house to live in with hubby (with a library that has bookcase windowseats for all our tomes)

And as I am engaged but not married yet, the 'hubby' thing is it's own bucket list!

(In the very far future(; lol) run a race with my kids(; I ran a 5k last Saturday (I'm pretty slow... only been running for a few months) and there was a guy who (you could just tell by looking at him; his legs were awesome) that he was a really good runner. But I was always just a smidge behind him the whole time because he was running with his little daughter! She was probably only 5 or 6, but it was just the most adorable thing! He would turn around and encourage her and she kept up! She ran the whole thing(:

I *so* want to do that one day! (:

    - I'd like to develop a fairly large scale video game that's (hopefully) good
    - Raise my future kids to be successful people
    - Master German and Spanish
