Does anyone have an idea how many calories get burned while at work doing some walking and standing? I work at arbys and we are spurty and only busy during lunch rush. The way my feet feel, it should be worth something

No, but I suggest getting a heart rate monitor with a chest strap to help.:drinker:
  • Ah yes, but when you set up the account and put in your work, didn't you already factor in that you work at an active job?

I'm a waitress at a rather large restaurant, so there's a lot of walking from the kitchen to the customers and what not.
Sorry, I can't answer how many calories are burnt... But the way I see it there probably are a handful. The thing is, I don't like to consider it part of my 'exercise calories burnt', because then you're just setting yourself up for a low standard as to what you believe exercise is.
Instead, I just think of it as part of my daily routine, and if the extra movement during work leads to more weight loss, then so be it ; D A bonus you didn't see coming.

I think you are right, I should just take that part as it comes. Good idea, thank you
