Question for moms (about after baby tummy)

Are you bellies the same as they were pre-baby? I'm not necessarily talking about stretch marks......I have stretch marks from having 3 children twin boys and a daughter.......I can live with those, they are the least of my worries. My biggest worry though is my belly, it's very saggy because of my first pregnancy (twin pregnancy) My stomach feels waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too big for my body! It's been 2 years and 8 months after I had my daughter and my stomach looks the same as 6 weeks pp. How do you get your tummies back? Is there any hope besides surgery? I guess I already know the answer to this question but I'm just wondering if anyone has the same problem or were you able to shrink it down?

SORRY, UNLESS YOU HAVE SURGERY, THERE IS NO WAY TO GET RID OF THE BELLY "BULGE". I HAVE THREE BOYS AND MY MIDDLE SON WAS 10 POUNDS, 12OZ. AND 23" LONG. I AM 5'3" AND GOT DOWN TO 122# AFTER MY THIRD SON. I STILL HAD THE LOWER BELLY BULGE (WHERE THE STRETCH MARKS ARE) BECAUSE THAT SKIN IS JUST PLAIN STRETCHED OUT! I WOULD LOVE TO GET IT CUT OFF!!! THE BULGE WILL ALWAYS BE THERE BUT IT WILL STAY IN PROPORTION TO YOUR BODY AS YOU LOSE WEIGHT. DON'T LET THIS DISTRACT YOU! I DID LOOK GOOD AT 122# (ALTHOUGH I DIDN'T THINK IT THEN--I'D LOVE TO BE 122# AGAIN) ANYWAY, KEEP YOUR CHIN UP AND DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT!:ohwell:0

So far mine is still here too. I am back to weighing less then my original pre-preggo weight, but still have my tummy. I guess it is a small price to pay for the joy of my kids. But it sure is annoying!! :laugh:0

I have the same thing. My husband calls my saggy belly my "baby pocket" and my stretch marks "battle scars". I have tried a lot of things to bring it down, but it's really impossible. So we look at it as a remembrance of when I was pregnant, and then it turns into a positive and I'm proud of it. Sort of.0

Hi Cassi,
If your skin has been stretched to the max and hasn't "bounced back", you may need plastic surgery.
It is possible to get your tummy slimmed down but the skin will be a problem.
My tummy has slimmed down tons (almost flat) but there is some loose skin.
There was a thread on this so here's the link:
