I've been on and off My fit pal for 14 months. Recently dedicated for 3 1/2 months and I haven't lost not 1 pound... I do kickboxing 3 days a week and try to walk 2 miles the other days. I have cut out most everything and changed the way I eat completely.. I do mess up and have taco bell or pizza but it's not a lot. I just don;t know what to do anymore....

It sounds like you get enough exercise, so maybe there is something that is messing you up. Are you eating enough? You should eat your exercise calories (the ones you burned) so your daily total is your recommended number. If you undereat by too much, your body will fight not to let go of the weight because it will think you are starving. Weird, but true for many people. Other reasons could be if you eat a lot of restaurant food, it has a lot of salt and hidden fat. Comparable foods at home usually have less salt and butter (restaurants put butter in darn near everything!) so eating the same homemade foods will be less calories. Or is there another source of salt, like diet pop. Some brands are loaded with salt, to punch up the flavor. Look for sodium anything in the ingredients list. Are you drinking a lot of water every day? You need it to flush out fat and salt. Are you sleeping enough? If you are not, your hormones will accumulate and hold on fat.
I keep measuring cups and a small digital scale on my kitchen counter to measure everything. My eyes are very unreliable. For example, I love rice. There is a huge calorie cost to a half cup serving, so I go with a fourth cup, and it is enough. Little stuff like that can torpedo your efforts. I hope something here helps you. Remember, too, if your body is fighting to hold onto the weight, it will have to eventually give it up if you keep eating less and exercising. So hang in there:happy:0 -
Hi! Thanks for your post! I would like to answer some of your questions.:)
I eat 3 times a day and a snack. A typical day for me: Breakfast- 2 pieces of toast with sugar free jam, egg whites made into an omelet with low fat cheese and real bacon bits. (i always use the serving size) Lunch- tuna stuffed into a pita pocket. and an apple or orange.etc. Dinner- talipia fried in olive oil and a salad or something green. Snack- sugar free ice cream sandwhiches
I drink only water. I drink a lot of water. 8-10 or more cups a day. Mike (my husband) says "Babe, Are you filling your hump up again?" He calls me a camel. HAHAH!
I sleep from 12am til 9 am
Thank you for your help and kind words.

It doesn't seem like you're getting enough calories which causing your body to go into starvation mode.0
