So i am thinking of trying the following:

* optimum nutrition chocolate whey protein powder
* sugar free almond milk (180ml)
* 1 medium banana
* 1 teaspoon peanut butter

do you think this would be a) tasty and b) filling?

    Yep i use a blender, its a bit hard to mix the bananas in without one haha, and what i do is 180milk, and a tiny tiny bit of water and 2 ice cubes if you can get them. Youll be suprised how much it makes up to, i usually get about 1pint out of it :)
    And as for the almond butter, its pretty much the same, but the peanut butter is smooth and chewy compared to the almond. I dont mind either one :) xx

    anything that has banana is filling i think. :)
    i sometimes go to this site incrediblesmoothies.com

    I create my own too, and most of it is really filling. I havent tried banana and peanutbutter in my smoothie yet though but it does sound delicious.

    Here is my favorite Smoothie. It's delicious (my entire family loves it) It's a very large serving and 210 calories.

    Silk Almond Milk - Vanilla Unsweetened - Milk, 1 cup
    Bell Planation - Pb2, 2 tablespoons
    Fresh Express - Baby Spinach, 2 cups
    Frozen Banana - Medium (7" to 7-7/8" Long) (118g), 1 banana 7" - 7 7/8
    1 packet of Stevia or Truvia
    A few ice cubes

    I love PB2! After giving up peanut butter for years I finally have peanut butter again! Have heard about it for years but just recently ordered it (Amazon) and love it. I simply can't have peanut butter around because it is a major trigger food for me. I use pb2 in smoothies, recipes etc.
    Also I keep a supply of frozen bananas on hand at all times.
    So, incredibly high in Vitamin c, Vitamin A and iron.

    I love to put the baby spinach in my smoothies as well as frozen fruit in lieu of the ice, it makes for a smoother consistency, especially when using a frozen banana.... also use about a tablespoon of flax seed.

    You should be able to get PB2 from amazon. It's a powdered natural peanut butter thats lower in fat. I'm fixing to order some. When I have a smoothie I have the following and I LOVE it. I've noticed it helps curb my sweets cravings. I need to add some baby spinach to it but half the time i forget to buy it.

    1 Frozen banana
    1/2 cup Almond milk
    2 tablespoons peanut butter
    1/2 c vanilla greek yogurt

    I'd have to go find my book but like that it's about 325 calories....the cals will change when I get my PB2

    Just using the Optimum protein will make it filling. The PB will help too. That sounds delicious! I may throw some PB in my shake tonight for after the gym...see how it works.

    That's almost the same way I make my breakfast smoothie every day. Sometimes I leave off the PB.

    Try peeling then freezing your bananas. Makes milkshake consistancy. Yummy!

    That sounds yummy! I use Body Fortress Cookies and Cream Whey Protein and Vanilla Soy Milk. A little sweet but I love it. Might try adding some peanut butter.
