need good LADIES workout options for 35+ age group

I am looking for some great ideas for workouts for ladies around my age! Presently I alternate light weights, 1-2ponds arm exercises and the treadmill every other day. I am wanting to to tone my whole body , but not overdue it and stress some muscles.

You are wasting your time with 1-2 pound weights. Lift heavy, do compound lifts - it will help you achieve your goals, and also promotes bone strength.0

Do you have any boot camps in your area? There's lots where I live and I joined one a couple of years ago and it is the only thing that has worked for my whole entire body. I never thought I'd get toned arms as weights never did work for me. The variation of things done at a boot camp stops boredom and really does work. (I'm 37 by the way and there's lots of ladies much older than me attend).0

I do just dance three on the wii and do the 3000 sweat points that is equivilant to a thirty minute swim. I am 37 and find this does get me moving and enjoyable as well x0

I do Jillian Michaels No More Trouble Zones which is all weight work with 5lb weights. I dont have access to weight machines or anything to "lift heavy". But its a good workout and you will see a difference if you stick with it. I will be moving up to 8lb weights because the 5's are getting a little too easy.0
