What tips do you have to over come the hunger between meals?
How do you learn to limit yourself when you snack so you don't over do it?

I plan ahead to eat something when I'm hungry. For limiting, I like snacks that come in small containers, so I can go ahead and eat the whole container without feeling guilty. My favorite sweet-tooth snack is a box of blackberries or raspberries, because that's healthy for me as well. Another thing I do is keep a box of small cookies (like Veronas) or individually wrapped chocolates, and take my time savoring one or two when a healthy snack doesn't cut it.

As far as filling goes, my experience is protein and fiber all the way. An english muffin with tuna and some chopped celery on it is yummy and keeps me full. Apples are also great because they've got some fiber in the skin, are lower calorie than cookies, and take a while to eat.

I eat three meals a day with 2 snacks that I try to keep around 100-150 calories each. One of those snacks is usually an apple or banana. The other one is usually something like a Kasji Go Lean Bar, pretzels or something not quite as helathy as the fruit, but satisfying. Once I got through the first couple of weeks, I found that I wasn't that that hungry and a meal or snack was never too far away.
