Hi all,
So since i have cut down sugar and focussed on getting more protein in my diet, I have cut down sugar (when i did weight watchers before i eat SO much fruit it was ridiculous!)...now i just do healthy eating and i have maybe some berries but other than that i just eat tons of veg and salad!!
Is that ok do you think?! xxx

I have heard that berries are great for you and for weight loss. But stay away from bananas, apples, grapes and melons. Good fruits are blackberries, raspberries, blueberries, cranberries and strawberries.
I was given this advice when I was on my low carb diet.0 -
I eat all kinds of fruits, I am careful with more dense fruits like banana's, usually just having half. DH eats other half. I still love my apples. I eat a lot of berries though,
BLUEBERRIES
blackberries, strawberries, raspberries.
Fruits didn't make me fat. It was chips, cookies, fries, tacos, burgers from the drive thru that made me fat.0 -

I agree with this! Fruit is good for you but just like everything else you have to account for it! I don't mind if I go occasionally go over in sugar due to fruit, just keep an eye on it but I wouldn't stress over it.0 -
I make sure I eat at least 3 fruits a day. I eat a bannana, blackberries or blueberries and an apple. I'm usually over my sugars, but I feel like I'm getting a lot of needed nutrition from the fruit. My favorite is blackberries, they are so good!

If you want to eat the fruit, eat whatever you want that fits in calories. Don't stress about sugar. Restrictions on here for that are silly low anyway.
(This assumes you have no medical conditions relating to sugar, of course.)0 -
2 - 3 servings of fruit a day is a good thing.0

I love all fruit, i usually eat 2 pieces a day, banana and apple although i LOVE peaches, plums, and any you can think of. The this is with fruit is that its natural occurring sugar, so the sugar from an apple is much better than 1 tsp of sugar. I wouldnt worry about it too much aslong as you're not eating RIDIC amounts haha
