Hey guys and gals!
I'm starting the new rules of lifting for women tomorrow and just wanted to ask if its the best thing for me to up my calories straight away? I currently work out 3-4 times a week but only doing cardio and eat around 1500 cals a day is this enough or should i bump it up?

Stay where you are. When you hit the wall on increasing weights, add another ~250 kcal to your diet.0

feel free to add me -- I'm almost one month into new rules and loving it! I upped my calories according to the calculations in the book, so to 1700. But I did it semi gradually, I was at 1300 then 14, 15, 16 etc. It's hard to up cals but worth it0

I agree, stay where you are for the first couple of weeks and start adding calories when you start to feel like you need them...which if you're working hard you will!!! Good for you for starting it, it is a wonderful program!0
