Did anyone else on her route get the see the flyover today?

I live on the coast of Florida not far south of Canaveral. I took my family up to the beach at sunrise to watch from Patrick AFB. They flew right over us, then made their turn and flew over us again heading north to Washington D.C. and the Smithsonian.

I missed it because I was in a meeting! It flew very close to my office building in Washington DC.

Thanks for the pics. I'm not in the flight path, so it's nice to see.

I was able to watch it from the roof deck of my office building in DC! So cool!

I could see it from my office.

People down the hall were screaming in excitement. I thought that was a bit of an overreaction.

It flew past our building here at work (VA). My husband works really close to Dulles airport, and said was kind of surereal, everyone was pulled over to the side of the road, and on overpasses.

I work in Alexandria, VA and it flew around our building, it was so cool! I'm a space geek so I was loving it! Then we pulled up NASA tv and watched it land at Dulles.

I was hanging out on the National Mall waiting. It was a wonderful piece of history to see.

That just makes me sad really... while it would have been exciting to see the shuttle... it makes me sad that we will no longer be making trips to space... without hitch-hiking with the Russians that is...
