I am new MFP, as of this week.
I have been lurking and reading and am encouraged by how many of you are truly succeeding at your weightloss efforts.
I'm 26 and a mother of 4 (3 of which are my biological children). My oldest Biological daughter is 4 1/2 and my youngest biological child is 4 months.
Before having kids I was a healthy 140 at 5 foot 7 inches. Before getting pregnant this last time, I had not gotten back below 150. I am currently sitting between 160 and 165.
I would love to be back down at 140 eventually but my immediate goal is to get back to 150.
I look forward to being able to post my success story!

You may not realize this but you are tiny! 19 years ago I was 150 lbs, 5'8', had been an avid exerciser for years and I thought I was huge! I am now 206 and recently i looked at a picture of myself 19 years ago. what a babe I was! I was not overweight! So, I encourage you to get back where you were but by no means picture yourself as unattractive. You will be back to 140 in a few months. Make it an adventure!0

thanks
I've already learned a lot just by reading others posts.
I think the accountability of this site. I have lost weight after my previous children w/o this kind of accountability but imagine that having this site will make this go around a lot easier!0 -
