Ok, so if you have a walmart....GO, they have frozen fruit cheaper than most places, yogurt is cheaper, bread is cheaper, etc. I made a shake in the morning: 1/2c yogurt, 1/2 skim milk or almond milk, 1c fresh raw spinach (you can't taste it I swear), 1/2 c frozen fruit of my choice, and a banana. Or instead of the frozen fruit I add a tbs of peanut butter. And sometimes also throw in a scoop of protein powder. Check out skinnytaste.com she has amazing recipes and it tells you all the calories fat etc. And they're all easy to make0

buy other grains in bulk like quiona and bulger etc. Load up on seasonal veggies/fruits from a farmers market if you have them availible. I also buy some chicken sausage, fish, lean pork, etc. Make big pots of stuff on a Sat or Sun when you have time and break them into serving sizes and freeze/fridge so you have a couple choices through out the week and also it's made.
Check out the skinny girl website for some ideas....0 -

I cook together a small amount of diced chicken, low sodium chicken broth, peppers, onions, and whatever other veggie. Add some cajun or spicy seasoning. Then put the yummy spicy mess right on a nuked potato. I usually add little sour cream or cheese depending on my calorie intake for the day. Hope this helps!:flowerforyou:0

I just cooked a bag of frozen chicken breasts with one jar of salsa and one can of black beans in the crockpot and now have 3 lunches and one dinner for the week. It is really tasty and super easy.0

We make ground turkey, put it over the top of mashed potatoes (or noodles) and top with red sauce. You can adjust the amount based on what you have to eat. Like, when I make my serving, its 460 calories total and thats 4oz of turkey (1 serving) and 2oz of noodles (1 serving) and 1cup of my sauce (2 servings)....my husband usually has more calories and can have two of everything.....out of 1lb of turkey, you can make 4 meals. sometimes mix it up with soup instead of sauce0
