Is it ok to at least drink "1" to supplement a meal? I personally don't have time for lunch and/or dinner (busy with work, etc.) and this would still give me my calories? ??????????????

I don't know if it's "bad" persay....... Could you try just fixing lunch the night before and bringing it with you?

I don't think it is bad either as long as you fit it in your calories and it works for you. go for it. Everyone has to figure out what works for themselves. I don't think replacing more than one meal with it is wise because then you are getting deprived of the feeling of regular food and will probably get sick of slim fast quickly. That's where I think most people went wrong with this then went back to eating way too many calories. Again good luck to you

I actually have breakfast and lunch as a slimfast shake at the moment there are times when life is too hectic to think and plan so I know where I am with slimfast I usually have a shake with a banana for breccy and lunch is a shake with homemade wholemeal bread snack mid affy is usually fruit and then a homecooked meal for dinner with either fruit salad yoghurt or rice cakes for dessert. this has worked for me before and hopefully I can make it work again and this time I will adjust myself back onto maintainance better with the knowledge from this site.

But for now I have so much going on in my life good and bad some extremely upsetting so this is just my way of coping without emotional eating it is controlled I don't have to decide what to have for lunch etc.

I think the general thing to watch for is when you stop that you switch over and continue to watch the scales and the tape measure. That is my take anyway.
