:frown: :sad: HI EVERYONE I'M NEW TO THIS THANKS TO MY FRIEND FOR THE IDEA. I AM AN EMOTIONAL EATER AND SUFFER WITH DEPRESSTION SO I AM EATHER EATTING WAY TOO MUCH OR STARVING MY SELF. IT HAS REALLY MESSED UP MY METABOLISUM. I HAVE NONE!!!! ANY ENCORAGMENT YOU CAN GIVE ME IS APPRECIATED.

well first of all, I hate diets and love food too. So I refuse to think of this as a "diet" but rather a change. I'm eating lots of yummy foods that I enjoy that are just better for me (like yogurt and fruit). For me it's the sweet stuff that I crave so I have healthy alternatives to pigging out on Oreo's. Instead I have "pigged out" on watermelon
I understand being an emotional eater. My problem is that I'm a social eater. I like to go to dinner or lunch with people and eat when others are eating.
I hope that you find the encouragement/support that you are looking for on this site.0 -
Been there myself. Once I was 290lbs, then down to 200 then up to 260 and now on my way down - FOR THE LAST TIME!.
Stay focused. Use us for support. People even vent here to reduce their stress.

I love food too. I still eat the food I love just in moderation.
Instead of buying a big bag a chips a buy a grab bag, buy one candy bar. Yeah I spend more money but if figure I'd rather spend extra money and have a smaller butt:bigsmile:0 -
