Lately I've been getting really bad charlie-horses in my calves. I wanted to know what could be causing this and if there are any excercises or foods that could help them go away. Somebody told me that I need to drink more water. Somebody else told me I'm not getting enough salt. But I don't want to drink more water if I'm really not getting enough salt and then I'll get even more charlie-horses. Any advice please?

My husband used to have the same problem & his sister told him he wasn't getting enough salt, so he ate more salt & that worked for him. Hope this helps

Hi! It could be a magnesium deficiency and rehydration problem. Email me at jl972004@yahoo.com and I can explain it in greater detail.
Talk to you soon,

You probably aren't getting enough potassium.0
