Has anyone tried ChaLEAN Extreme? Wanted to know how you liked the program and what were your results.
Would you recommend the program?

I'm about half way through. I haven't lost any weight, but I think I've been eating too little. i have however gained muscle (newbie gains - before the naysayers appear) as my muscles are definitely more obvious and I have increased my lifts from 5lbs to 14lbs already.
I think if I'd been eating properly I'd have lost more, though apparently it is the last month where the dramatic changes happen *fingers crossed*
I really enjoy it.0 -
I LOVE Chalean. I hit a plateau last year and my trainer suggested I do weight training as I was a cardio bunny. I was skeptical until the results. I didn't finish the whole 90 days (2 weeks short) but my body shape changed drastically. i am now trying to lose weight I put on after illness and after I cut a few pounds, I am going right back to Chalean.0

I love it. I lost tons of inches the last time I did it and I am in about week three of the first phase right now...definitely getting stronger.0

If you have to work out at home (versus at the gym), I like Chalean Extreme0

I have 3 more weeks of Insanity, then I am starting ChaLean Extreme. I am excited and hoping to lose some body fat doing it.0

It's an excellent program. The only part of it I did not LOVE was the cardio days. But I have exercise ADD anyway.0

Love the program. Contact me if you want more info. I am about to begin phase 2 and have already lost 3 inches.0 -
I am on week 8 of ChaLean and this is my 3rd time around with the program. I am a coach with Beachbody and I can honestly say that ChaLean and Turbo Fire are at the top my favorites list. . A few of the reasons that ChaLean Extreme is one of my favorites is because I get to change my workout every month (I get bored easily), the wokrouts are under 45 minutes (mostly), Chalene is very motivating and I always see great results. Good luck with your decision. :0)0

i have been thinking of trying this workout next when i'm done Rin30. The thing i find is hard is trying to find workouts that are around that 30 min level like JM's are....0

I just started ChaLean Extreme yesterday - I was doing Turbo Fire and then injured my foot 2 weekends ago. I have been pretty bummed out since the Dr. told me to avoid any high impact exercise for at least a month. I had been seeing great results with TF and was hoping to find something that could get me fired up to work out. I had ChaLean Extreme at home, an impulse buy, and then I bought TF knowing I love cardio so much. I have to say it was pretty intense and I hope to see some good results, as many people on here have been saying what good results they're having or have had. Once I can am cleared to get back into it, I'll probably integrate TF with CLX and hope for even better results. Thanks for the motivation to push play!0

what's the difference between turbo fire and turbo jam?
Turbo Jam was Chalene's first workout program and Turbo Fire increases the intensity both are done by Chalene Johnson.
If anyone is interested look at my pics in my profile I just posted my 30 day progress pics. Starting the push phase today.0 -
I'm in the second month of Chalean Extreme. I lost 7 inches during the first month. I haven't lost any weight, but I am now fitting into pants I couldn't wear when I started the program. I used to lift heavy years ago and CE has been a nice way to ease back into weights.

In a video I saw somehere, Chalene describes Turbo Jam as being beginner to intermediate level and Turbo Fire is a more advanced workout. That's not to say that you can't start with TF though.0 -
ok turbo jam it will be then or if i can afford to get chalean extreme...0

Is Turbo Fire hard on the knees? I have seen so excellent results from people combining TF and CLX.... I don't know which one to start with first.0

I haven't done TF yet (it's on its way to me), but I have read that it can be hard on the knees for some people.
If you go to beachbody's website you can view little clips of at least TF - I'm not sure if there are any for TJ. I've had TJ for over a year and love it. As my fitness level went up I was able to make it harder. I'd say I'm at an intermediate level and I can still get a really good workout from TJ by sticking with higher impact moves. I usually burn 400 - 500 calories per 45 min. workout. I've been doing CLX and TJ and seeing great results.0
