Can it really fluctuate 1lb or more by weighing yourself at different times of the day? When is the ideal time to weigh-in to make sure that it is an accurate representation of your weight?

  • Hey hey....weigh yourself first thing in the morning after you use the bathroom-sometimes I fluctuate 3 pounds or so just by breakfast and some water. My weight changes like crazy.

Yup. I can gain up to 5 pounds in a day! Between all the water I drink and food, I'm always heavier at night. I always weigh in the morning before eating or drinking but after using the bathroom. Lowest weight I'll have all day!

I agree with PP. Weighing in the morning after going to the bathroom is best

It is best to do it the same time everyday. A lot of people do it first thing in the morning, after going to the bathroom. That way your stomach is likely empty.
