Not sure if I am doing something wrong...need advice

I have been on MFP for like 6 weeks I think and love it. I'm making better choices and have lost between 6-8 lbs. I'm only trying to lose 10 total lbs but I am starting to wonder if I need to go to 15 lbs. I can't see a difference yet and this is what I'm doing : Zumba 3 x a week, and on the other days I'm trying to ride my bike but If I don't get to do that I at least try to do the JM 30DS. I weigh/measure all of my food and do a pretty good job on staying under my calorie goal. I don't understand why my stomach is still as "jiggly" as before I started all this, it doesn't seem to be toning at all. And my inner thighs, butt, and lovehandles do not seem to be changing either. I don't know what else to do. I guess I am at the stage of "skinny fat" that is mentioned in multiple posts. I weigh 118 roughly and DO NOT think I am overweight by any means but I need to change something to where I tone and lose fat. I'm short so things don't distribute very well. I want to be able to walk around/wear tank tops and bathing suits and be comfortable.
Feel free to check out my food diary and make and suggestions. Thanks!

Look up a book on Amazon called The New Rules of Lifting for Women. A great website to look at also is nerdfitness.com. It sounds like you're doing beautifully and if you would ever be interested in it lifting could truly transform your body.0

You need to add some toning/lifting into your routine. JM Shred is a good start, but you need to do it consistently.0

IMHO: I would say you need to change your exercises. Get some toning videos and some small weights. Something like "10 minute solution: target toning" I don't think it is your eating you just need to exercise the key areas.0

I would love to start lifting because I feel that would make a big difference but 1. no place to lift and can't really afford a gym membership and 2. not sure what to do (i know that's lame). There is a community small gym in my neighborhood but the weights section is always full when I am able to go. Does that book give weight exercises you can do at home?0 -
My recommendation is that you considering a dvd that has some sort of weight component. JM is excellent but if you want to up the ante you should probably consider buying yourself some good weights/kettlebells. Alternatively you can look at trx training, this uses your own body weight to tone and it's a killer workout. You can purchase Rip 60 (with JM and Georges St Pierrre) if this interests you. My pick is crossfit/tabata. Pushing yourself to your absolute limits, it requires very little in the way of "tools" (I do a lot of mine at the park during the day when there are few children), if you are going to purchase anything I would recommend a kettlebell/sandbags and an interval timer. You can access bodyrock.tv for free and their workout's of the day are posted as a youtube video, don't take long to complete and and they cater for those who are beginners to experienced alike. They have plenty of nutrition information as well. There is ALWAYS something you can do to push yourself the extra mile. I haven't checked out your diary but if you step back and re-evaluate whether you're eating enough fresh fruit and veg, if you eat excessive refined carbs etc... you can usually hone yourself that way. Good luck.0

Yes, I know women who do the NROLW at home. It does require the purchase of weights and the book tells you how to do everything. Another great starting spot if the purchase of weights is out of budget in the Angry Birds Workout on nerdfitness.com. It uses your body weight as resistance and is EXTREMELY effective for working your muscles. I just started Monday and it works my body harder than 30DS ever did(which I love). I do her Body Revolution 3 days a week, Angry Birds 3 days and walk/run on my Bird days...but I have a looong way to go to get where you are! I get to start NROLW 30 lbs from now and I can't wait! You can search the forum here and there are fantastic threads about NROLW with pictures. The ladies who lift heavy have the body I want. Gorgeous! Good luck to you!0 -
Check out the websites for Shape magazine and similar, they often have great strength routines you can do at home with a set of dumbells or kettlebells. Lean muscle is more efficient at burning that stubborn fat.0

I would consider toning as an option to help with this, also please take note that your body will take fat from everywhere - not just from one area so while you're losing a bit of fat per pound lost it may not show yet, and there's no way to spot-treat areas you want toned0
