Hello there! My name is Kimberlea and I signed up for MFP a couple days ago to see what it was about.
I have a 14 month old daughter, she is my joy. ... I have been trying to lose all the weight i gained from having her.
I use an exercise bike for 30mintes-60 minutes a day. And have been using those SlimQuick Sachets to help Aid in my weight loss. I have a really hard time eating healthy, so I have been drinking Meal Replacements to get the calories and nutrients I need. Other than that I snack all day on vegitables... I've been deiting for about 2 weeks, I have seen no change. I only starting cycling the past 3 days so from that I dont expect change yet.
Please if anyone has any tips for a very busy mom to lose weight please let me know!!
I work 10 hour shifts in the evening 5-3AM. Then I watch my daughter all day....

Are you drinking 8-10 cups of water a day? I promise you - this is a huge key in weight loss. I personally don't like to use products like Slim Fast or any meal replacement drinks because I would drink them and eat on top of that then I won't be doing myself any good. Do what works best for you! You can do it!!0

I agree with Klaflamme you need the water but perhaps you should consider walking along with the bike, I too use my bike and its fine but I walk outdoors 4 miles or use the leslie sansone walking DVD is really good if you can't get out the house...........I was 267 the one thing I can tell you BC your probable new to having extra weight to lose and thats there are no quick fixes that are going to last, you need to take it one day at a time..........And don't look for anything that's going to take the weight off more than a couple of pds a wk eveything I have ever done where I lost the weight quick I eventually gained it back and became bigger..............I am carb sensitive so I eat high protein and keep my carbs around a 100 a day..........I use those carbs to give me energy when I exercise..........try and stay within your cal range that you need to lose and the best advice I can give you is to prepare your meals a couple of days in advance so that you know ahead of time what your going to eat so that you don't lose control.............exercise.........that works............wish you the best.........twistygirl0

Thanks ladies! and yes, twistygirl I am 100% new to this have 'goo' thing. I used to be SO skinny and have abs going on, and I did nothing to have to earn it!.. Now I do, and its hard, and frustrating. I do drink alot of water, I think i get over my 8 glasses a day. That isnt including my 3-4 pots of green tea (unsweetened) at work.... im ALWAYS going pee...
As for planning my meals ahead of time.. I usualy dont do that, I get what i feel like eating for the day.. because if I dont, I get a 'itch' to find something to satisfy my craving and I end up eating MORE than i should.... I ALWAYS cook great meals for my boyfriend and daughter but I just cant bring myself to eat anything after I'm done cooking.. But I really enjoy fish and vegitables. Sadly, I LOVE Pastas....
The worst thing I do, is give in to my cravings at work to grab a small bag of chips. And its HORRIBLE i feel SO guilty eating them. And then I tell myself "Its okay to have a bag once a week"... concidering I was eating a bag everyday... And I dont drink pop.. if I feel like something carbonated, i drink Carbinated water with lime juice.. Sooooo yummy!. lol0 -
Thank you! I need alot of support and motivation!. So far my motivation is that Halloween is coming up and I wanna fit into a sexy little outfit again!. If not, im going as a pillowcase.. HAH!.0
