Hi all,

So me and my other half are going to wagamamas tomorrow evening for dinner. I usually have Yaki soba but the only nutritional values i can find say it is 510 calories - surely not?! it's a HUGE portion of noodles?!

My other half has chilli ramen with beef which is basically noodles in soup with yummy chunks of beef and that is coming up over 900 calories!!!

Any recommendations for what i can have please? i would have either yaki soba or the chilli beef ramen but not sure which would be best?

thank you! xxx

pass. There's no nutritional data on their web site.

You don't have to eat a whole dish. I ate at Wagamama in Leeds and I'm low carbing so just found some meat dish with a side salad by talking to the waitress.

I know!! It is sooo annoying!!! i really wish they did provide them!!!

I could ask for half a yaki soba i guess but i do love it! arhh! may just have the whole dish and exercise to cover! xxx

I went to Wagamamas a couple of weeks ago and yes it is frustrating that they don't show nutritional values anywhere. I did what I assume you've done and checked out calories on this website and also used Google. I couldn't find calories for everything so decided what to eat beforehand and had -

Yasai Chilli Men - 320 calories
    2 Gyoza dumpling - 96 cals
Half of the chilli squid - 75 cals

I really want to boycott anywhere that doesn't publish calories :) Love love love Yo! Sushi for their take on it...calories printed on the menus :)

If that's the dish you really want then have it and do as you say...exercise...and maybe eat fewer calories for breakfast and lunch. If you don't have it will you feel deprived then binge the following day? I would...mental!
  • Thanks!!!

Bump for any further responses! xxx
  • I still feel bitter that our city has no Wagamamas and yet the teeny market town we moved from got one last year. HUMPH

I lurve their food though.. I am pretty sure unless you have the katsu chicken curry you won't do too much damage x

Edamame? Thanks for posting that, I could just do with a smile after being out in the rain all day, and I actually laughed at that.

    (Sorry!)
  • Maybe it's new, but the Wagamama webaite now publishes all nutritional data on its website.
They also publish per 100g for comparison's sake.
I also found a Men's Health article listing the healthiest starter as Edamame beans, Chilli Chicken Ramen as the best main Mango with lime zest and lychee sorbet as the lowest calorie desert.

    Hope this helps.
