80 day slump?

Seriously, I don't know what is wrong with me, but I'm getting a little down this past week or so with this new lifestyle. I've been trying to be reasonably good with my food choices (I really need to add more veggies, but I'm not pigging out on junk 24/7 which was my MO before MFP!) and I've stayed really close to my calorie goal almost every day. I haven't been losing much weight, but the scale is still trending downward which is great. So why am I having such a hard time being onboard with this whole thing lately?
Anyone else go through phases like this, or is it just me?

I've recently had a phase like this Gracie, don't feel too bad. I've also noticed my choices are getting a bit naughtier lately - I think it's just a constant feedback loop and you're still adjusting.
Luckily what saved my motivation was getting a cold. I know that sounds odd, but a bit of a headache, some sneezes and that was it. Hardly noticed anything! So much better, the things used to take me out for weeks - really helped me refocus and realise how much better mylife is now!
Ride the wave out, you are a pro at this and you will feel it again!!0 -
I think we all go through slumps from time to time. Just remind yourself how far you've come and stick with it.0

Thank you for the replies! :flowerforyou: I actually got up off my behind and did 2-1/4 miles today (trail instead of treadmill, so a big victory for me) and am feeling a lot more positive this evening. I'm not usually one to get down, so it was a really disconcerting feeling this morning to just feel so blue. I also had a blazing headache - wonder if I was just dehydrated or something. I didn't keep careful track of water consumption yesterday and that might have been a big part in my uber-blah feeling earlier today.
Anyways, thanks again you two! It was a welcome surprise to log in and see replies (I'm usually the threadkiller, and OP on threads with no replies. :ohwell: ).0 -

Sometimes if I feel a bit unmotivated I go to town and try on clothes. I love being able to get into a smaller size and it gives me a very visible encouragement that this is working - look for the little achievements and NSVs in everyday life that make you proud of how far you've come and excited about the future!0
