When I put my information into MFP it says I should be eating 1200 calories. Which I had done for like 300 days. In December I plateaued at 162, and I've been stuck there ever since I tried eating higher calories, and lower calories - eating and not eating back exercise calories and I always just go right back to 162. I tried a bunch of calculators online that say I should be eating anywhere from 1200-1885. I'm so confused and just ready to give up. I don't know what to do? I do a lot of walking/jogging mostly, when my flu is gone I'm going to try thr 30ds but how many calories should I be eating?!?
ETA I weigh 159 this morning but I had the flu and haven't eaten much in 2 days
im 5'3"
my acitivy level is sedentary
my goal weight is 110

How long did you try eating more? Also use the link below and post your estimated BMR according to Harris benedict. Also, what do you do for a living? Once you provide that I can show you how many calories you should eat.

PS- I am assuming by the picture you are a recent month (ish)0 -
Have you set MFP to have you lose 1 pound per week, or are you at 2 pounds per week? Do you eat back your exercise calories? And do you know your BMR? All of that information would help. You should only being trying for 1 pound per week (I'm guessing this will raise your calorie count) and you should definitely, always, certainly eat back your exercise calories. And never eat below your BMR, once you figure that out. Hope that helps. :flowerforyou:0

Based on this formula, your current BMR is 1521 calories.0 -

Ok, first, you are not sedentary if you have a small child. You are lightly active. And if you don't exercise here is what you should eat.
TDEE =1521 * 1.375 = 2091
CN = 20910 * .8 = 1673
I would eat about 1650 calories a day. Look to do around 35% carbs, 40% protein and 25% fats. And if you workout, try to eat 50-75% of your exercise calories.0 -
thank you soosososo much.0
