Does anyone have any pilates before or afters? Or can you share what pilates has done for you? It can be a pilates class or DVD.

I do a pilates/ballet/yoga blend class called bar method religiously. It's changed my body immensely. I have fun doing the class, and that's what has kept me going. LOVE!
Here's a tummy pic. I would show the whole thing, but it's undies0 -
I've been doing Pilates over the last couple of months and I really think it's helped to define and shape my abs and legs a bit more. Note that I had already lost most of the weight that I've wanted to lose (down to the last 5 vanity lbs or so), but I did notice a big difference. I also think it's done wonders for building up my core.
I can't recommend it highly enough0 -

I've been doing Pilates for about 2yrs and up until the beginning of March only Pilates. Now that I'm determined to lose weight I've joined MFP and do lots of gym workouts, some zumba and a boot camp once a week. I'm pretty hopeless at boot camp, (am improving slowly) and am the puffing sweaty red-faced one at the back of the pack whilst jogging/step lunges but let me tell you - I'm top of the class when it comes to all the floor work! I beat all the skinny minnies at the leg raises, sit-ups and the plank! So 2 years of Pilates has given me amazing core muscles. I just need to get rid of the flab over them so I can see 'em. My back is also much stronger and my torso seems longer and leaner so I really can't recommend it enough.
I would suggest going to a few classes with a certified Pilates instructor to try it and then when you have the basics perhaps try one of the many Dvds on the market
Btw, I do "Fitness Pilates" which is slightly different to traditional Pilates. Good luck and let me know how you get on if you decide to try it.0
