I personally haven't done it but I've heard it can be hard on knees and quite the good work out. I wish I could try it but I'm terrified of causing more knee pain than I have, grrr.

My friend did it - got good results.

It is a very good workout program. You can go over your fiber and protein intake, dont worry. Those estimates are low. Keep the food the healthy and carbs complex like brown rice, sweet potatoes and oatmeal.

I upped my protein a lot! I've been slacking on protein lately, sadly, but that's my fault. Anyway. . . it kicks ur @$$ day after day. You will hate it when you are doing it, but I tend to feel better good about it when I'm done. It kills and I mean KILLS my knee. I feel old, not gonna lie, but I have been taking two alive a day to try to help with it. I also bought a cheap knee brace and I wear that while I work out. I'd suggest a headband too, althought I still use my shirt, to keep sweat out of your eyes. After tomorrow I will only have three weeks left! Then a two week vacation, then I plan to start it up again! Feel free to add me, let me know if you have any questions!

I just finished insanity today! I loved the program and I will be posting before and & after pictures tomorrow :). Overall I didn't lose a lot of weight I started at 120 and I am now 115, but I toned up everywhere and dropped a pant size! You will gain a lot of strength, before I could only do about 5 push ups before I collapsed on the floor, now i can do about 30! Don't worry about fibre and protein, your going to need the protein for your muscles to repair! Month 2 I started having a protein shake after my work out which really helped with soreness. Good luck, stick to the program and you will see results :)

I am just finishing week 4 of insanity and I love it. The first day I thought I was going puke after 10 minutes and now I get through the whole 40 minute workout without stopping. I have lost 13 pounds - I started at 145 and I'm now at 132. I thought working out 6 days a week would be hard to force myself to do, but I actually look forward to it. Plus, this far in there's no way I'm going to start skipping days. I have the recovery week starting on Sunday and then I start month 2 and I've heard it gets a lot harder!
