Need some help/advice please

I have completed the couch 2 5km programme and am now running at least 3 x week (around 30-40mins a time). My weight remained the same so I started tracking through MFP...and still nothing. Not a gram. What am I doing wrong? I am set at 1200 cals a day and I eat my exercise points but still nothing. It is getting very disheartening.......

Does anyone have some advice for me on how to start to loose the weight? Thanks :-)

Are you doing your measurements as well as your weight? If you aren't then start taking them.

Initially I didn't move at all, was maintaining for about a month before I lost weight. However if you still find you don't shift then make an adjustment to your diet.

For instance some of the things I changed was limiting carb's to just during the day, upping the fruit, veg and water. (Drinking water is important)

Also, I found initially it was important to weigh out ALL my food until I retrained myself on the portion sizes.

And when I made something, I found it helped to enter the recipe into MFP to get accuracy and rather than buying treats I baked. With doing that I'd cut the sugar down, and even depending on the recipe adjust the butter.

Um, its okk some ppl are different from others. While some in a month will lose 10-15 pounds others may only lose like 3-5 pounds. and sadly Im in the 3-5 pounds a month group.. you just have to hang in there! Also, besides running try in-corporating MORE other workouts:
such as plyometrics, Isometrics, High Impact Cardio.. If you do treadmill let me know, I can give u an awesome treadmill drill that will surely work off some pounds.. o and try youtube they have tons of workouts.. thats what I first did.. and im still doin it now even with weightloss here and there or weightgain back... just dont give up, keep focus on your goal and you will succeed.. :)

Thanks for the suggestions. I have been measuring myself but not seeing much difference there either. If this had only been a month or so I wouldnt be so annoyed but its been over 4 months. I run on the road, no treadmil but will look at other exercises as well - thanks. I just all confused with the TDE etc and was wondering if I was eating enough/too much but couldnt really figure it out. Arrrgghhh....I will keep plodding along :-)
  • 1200 doesn't sound like much. Make your food diary public so everyone can take a look.

Ok, but bare in mind I did it for a while ages ago but have only just started tracking properly again in the last couple of weeks....plus there are some missed days (especially the last couple as I feel like 'why bother')
