so i just started doing "insanity" again after a long time off!
i'm using hubbys My Protein Strawberry Whey, with skimmed milk straight afterwards.
is this the most idea stuff? or should i be using something more suited to a femal doing insanity rather than what hubby uses, i.e. a male doing heavy lifting??
thanks in advance

I'm no expert in the topic, but I do know that whey protein is a fast-absorbing protein that is ideal for immediate post-workout to help build and repair muscle - myprotein whey is the one I use as well. I don't think there's any real difference between guys and girls in that regard, we both need plenty of protein to aid recovery and get fitter and stronger. So I'd say it's just fine!0

I think Maximuscle do female only protein shakes. I'm a male by the way I've tried other male protein shakes but they all gave me cramps except for Maximuscle's.0

There's that many on the market it's difficult to actually pin down one. I have a Met-Rx meal replacement shake which I suppose is a high protein slim fast shake, with all the right nutrients to support muscle growth and fat loss. Plus the chocolate flavour tastes delicious0

I drink BSN Syntha-6 Ultra-Premium Sustained Release Protein Powder Banana flavor. 5.04 lbs tastes great and it's giving me good results0
