Hey everyone. I just found this place a week or so ago and so far I think it's fab. I just discovered this community bit which I think is the thing that I have been missing in the past.

I have a lot of weight to lose. (My goal is to lose about 140lbs...I am aiming to get rid of 70lbs by October this year...I know the rate of me losing will slow down the more I lose.) In the past I have done things very quickly and in an extreme way- losing a lot of weight but never keeping it off. I am determined to do this properly and gradually now as I worry about how this weight will affect me as I get older.

I would love to get to know some of you and I hope that I can find some people that can help to keep my motivation going and visa versa. :smile:
