Ok I am fairly new here and I love reading all the topics and I keep seeing "bump", someone please help me with what this is.

    since there is no "like" button on MFP people put "bump" so they can find a particular topic later.

    bump is when you are trying to get people to see your posts. when you "bump" a post it puts it back at the top of the forum where it is more noticeable. I hope that made sense.

    Bump just jumps your status at the beginnings of your friends status again .

    When a forum topic gets a new post, it gets "bumped" to the top of the forum category. It's easier to keep track of a topic if it's on top or on the first page. :smile:
