OK, WITH MY JOB I WORK EXTREMELY VARIED TIMES. FOR EXAMPLE ON WEDNESDAYS I WORK FROM 800 PM UNTIL 600 AM. I THEN TURN AROUND AND WORK FROM 200 PM UNTIL MIDNIGHT ON THURSDAY.

I'M NOT SURE IF I SHOULD LOG THE FOOD ON 2 DIFFERENT DAYS USING THE CUT OFF AT MIDNIGHT OR SHOULD I CARRY OVER BETWEEN MY SLEEPING SCHEDULES?

WHEN I GET OFF AT MIDNIGHT I USUALLY NEED A SNACK WHILE I WIND DOWN BEFORE GOING TO SLEEP WHICH GENERALLY ISN'T UNTIL 0200 OR SO.....

ANY SUGGESTIONS WILL BE APPRECIATED

I work nights and I use midnight to midnight as my day. I usually don't eat dinner till 2am so that goes on my dinner for the next day. It seems to be working for me.

No law says you have to use midnight. If there is a time that is more balanced for you, say close to when you wake up. No matter what your cut off time for the next day, on the long run it will all balance out. Main thing is to keep a little note pad so you do not forget anything.

Another thing that you might find helpful is to change the names of the meals that you enter.

Go to the Food tab and then click Settings in the top menu bar. You can have up to 6 meals called whatever you want. Some people do it by time frame instead of Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner - so if you're not usually awake until noon, you could do noon-4pm, 4-8pm, 8pm-midnight, midnight-4am. Or you can just add an extra space for snacks if you need it.

I don't think you have to do midnight-midnight if it seems counterintuitive to you, as long as you can keep track of your "day" being roughly 24 hours (or 16-18 hours of wakefulness). Whatever works for you!
