Cold after my workout

So, I just had a kickass workout on the Wii Fit to work off some pizza I had today. First time around, I burned about four hundred, and I wasn't sure if I was done since I felt like I could do more, so I waited an hour and drank about 1.5 liters of water in the meantime. Couldn't stop shivering, so I went back to work up a sweat again. Burned another hundred or so. Now I'm freezing again.
Why does this happen?

"When you get cold, even feel cold or get goose bumps at the end of an exercise session or after, you are dehydrated, that is, your body requires water. During exercising, heat from your working muscles is transported by the aid of water to your skin where it is transformed into sweat. If there is too little fluid in your body, it will start "economising" on the water so that less water and blood will be transported to your skin. The skin then feels less warm. Another economising mechanism consists in the sweat glands in your skin contracting, producing the small bumps on your skin called goose bumps. What is seen in your skin are the small muscles and when they are contracted, your skin will give off less water. That is why you get goose bumps when you need water. One or both signs often indicate dehydration, unless the air is cold where you exercise. That may also be the reason why you get cold."

Also, the body's response to sweating is to cool down, and during a hard workout... You sweat bullets lol
Orrr, your body is depleted of energy, so make sure the calorie deficit isn't too low after all that exercise!0 -
When this used to happen to me, it turned out i had an electrolyte imbalance. When you sweat, you lose salt - so you need to replace that. I was marathon training, so i would down a salt packet - i don't recommend this. Not because it's unpleasant. I craved it when i was in the middle of a long run. you know you're really depleted when a packet of salt tastes good.
Working out more and drinking all that water likely exacerbated the problem (if salt was the problem). You might try coconut water if you're feeling natural (but it can be pricey). I use Nuun tablets (try REI), which give electrolyte without the sugar that comes with Gatorade, etc.
I have also made my own version of Gatorade with some honey, lemon and a pinch of salt in water. Not sure if that's the best, but in a pinch i like it.0 -
Oh, also - get out of the sweaty clothes. That does NOT help.0

My BF and I were talking about this the other day... I usually always get cold after a workout... or at least after a good one... dehydration may be something to think about, though I normally try to drink my water while working out.0
